Tom Holland has a very busy movie scheduled for the next few years. Here are all the confirmed upcoming movies in which the actor will appear.

There are numerous emerging starring movies Tom Holland. The young actor likes to keep himself busy as he is expected to star in several big screen projects. While most emerging Tom Holland movies are fast-paced action adventures, he also tries his hand at a biopic to bend his acting muscles in a new direction. By exploring different genres for Holland’s future projects, he gives his fans more opportunity to see different sides of him with each new movie.

Start his career on stage via Billy Elliot the Musical in London’s West End, in which he starred from 2008 to 2010, Holland’s Hollywood debut film was the 2012 JA Bayona disaster film, The impossible; it was followed by Ron Howard’s In the heart of the sea in 2015. However, Holland’s big breakthrough came when he as the MCU’s Spider-Man in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. His fun, light-hearted approach to Peter Parker immediately made him a worldwide sensation, which Holland worked hard to retain.

Holland has since resumed the role several times with overwhelming success. He obviously enjoys portraying the superhero as Tom Holland’s future projects include three more Spider man movies to Spider-Man: No Way Home. From well-known roles to completely new attempts, the following list is of all upcoming Tom Holland movies that have been confirmed for release.

Following Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland is expected to return to the MCU for three additional Spider man movies. Sony producer Amy Pascal shared in an interview (via Fandango) that No way home was not the last Spider man movie that Sony would make with Marvel: “We think of this as three movies, and now we go to the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies“The web shooting superhero has had a somewhat confusing ownership history since the rights to the character have been owned by Sony since 1998, but more recent agreements with Marvel have allowed Spider-Man to appear in the MCU. Confirmation that this agreement will continue for at least three more movies provide for the possibility of introducing Holland’s Spider-Man to characters like Venom, Morbius and maybe even Miles Morales.


Uncharted (11 February 2022)

After starring in two novel-based movieChaos Step and Cherry– Holland will try his hand at a video game movie adaptation with Unknown. The project, directed by Ruben Fleischer, will serve as the origin story for Nathan Drake, who is the main character of the popular video game series. Unknown‘s story will precede the events in the game. Holland plays the main character — a fortune hunter who claims to be the descendant of the popular English explorer, Sir Francis Drake. Co-star Mark Wahlberg, on the other hand, will play Victor Sullivan, Nathan’s co-explorer and mentor. Unknown is in post-production with the movie scheduled to air on February 11, 2022.


Untitled Fred Astaire Biopic (TBD)

This was recently confirmed (via Twitter) that Tom Holland is in the lead role in a Fred Astaire biography for Sony. Astaire was a very talented American artist whose skills ranged from acting to singing, choreography and dance. He is often regarded as one of the greatest dancers in film history. Holland has a lot of experience portraying Americans, and has also proven that he himself is a rather talented dancer thanks to performances on programs such as Lip Sync Battle. The movie is in pre-production with only Tom Holland so far attached to the project, so it will take several more years before this film is completed.
