But there is more to the man than his films. On his official Twitter, he invites fans into his world in the form of a teaser for an upcoming documentary, John Carpenter Live: Behind the Scenes!

One of the things that sets Carpenter apart from other horror-directed icons is its sound. He is not only a storyteller, he is also a composer. Carpenter has achieved most of his own films, including the well-known theme for Halloween. In addition to his filmmaking career, Carpenter also does tours to give fans the chance to hear their favorite Saint tunes live.

In the tweet, Carpenter gives a bullet point of what to expect from the upcoming documentary. His wife, Sandy King Carpenter, is also announced as the director!
