The equalizer 3 is officially a go with Denzel Washington back in the lead. After starring in the 2014 original starring role with his 2018 successor The equalizer 2, the award-winning actor recently announced Botser that the third installment is his next film project. In fact, Washington has already begun the physical training and preparation that comes with starring in the action-packed movie.

Washington has been reluctant to reveal anything else too specific, though Antoine Fuqua is said to be in talks to climb back into the director’s chair after fixing the previous two episodes. It’s unclear if Richard Wenk, who wrote the first two movies, would be back to write the screenplay for part three.
The equalizer is loosely based on the original 1980s TV series of the same name. The film follows a former U.S. Marine who became DIA intelligence officer returning to action to protect a teenage prostitute from the Russian mafia. Along with Washington, the film also stars Marton Csokas, Chloe Grace Moretz, David Harbor, Bill Pullman and Melissa Leo.
Because the film was a box office hit, it got a sequel in 2018 with Washington repeating its role. Pedro Pascal, Ashton Sanders and Orson Bean (in his last role) also starred. This time, Washington’s Robert McCall seeks bloody revenge when a good friend of his is killed. This film was also a hit at the box office.

The latest feature film starring in Washington is The tragedy of Macbeth. Written and directed by Joel Coen, the film also stars Frances McDormand and is based on the original play by Shakespeare. The film, which will be released for streaming on Apple TV + on January 14, was a huge hit with critics and achieved a very impressive 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
