Marvel releases electrifying Moon Knight trailer


The official world premiere of the brand new Disney + original series, Moon Knight, was unveiled during the NFL Super Wild Card game. The new trailer for the highly anticipated Marvel series reveals tons of new footage of what is to come in the near future. Moon Knight is an upcoming American television miniseries based on the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name. This is the nineteenth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and a Phase Four episode. You can watch the official trailer for the upcoming series below.

As shown in the brand new trailer above, the highly anticipated Marvel series will finally arrive soon. The brand new trailer reveals tons of new footage, as well as a much better look at Moon Knight’s costume. We also saw another look at Ethan Hawke’s Arthur Harrow, and hopefully, soon Shadow Knight. With no exact release date yet announced, the upcoming MCU series will be available to stream on Disney + sometime during March 2022.

Created by Jeremy Slater, the official synopsis for Moon Knight is as follows: “A new global action-adventure series with a complex vigilante suffering from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities that live in him find themselves driven into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and Ancient Egypt . ” It has also been confirmed that the upcoming series will consist of six episodes, with approximately 40-50 minute runs. Moon Knight is produced by Marvel Studios and will be released on Disney +.

All episodes for the upcoming Marvel series are directed by Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab, and Synchronies duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. Moon Knight stars oscar isaac, Ethan Hawke, Gaspard Ulliel and May Calamawy. In addition to leading the Disney + series, Oscar Isaac will also serve as an executive producer. During his appearance of Late Night with Seth Meyers, Ethan Hawke based his villainous character on former cult leader David Koresh. “I based my character on David Koresh,” Hawke laughs with the host. “Yeah, so I mean, I think it works. I totally wanted a Camaro, you know? I want to ride a Camaro. I can not believe you, I mean, you’re good Seth. Or maybe I am.” I’m not out of character yet … I do not know if we want to be on record to say that. But, I will say, he is the basis of great character inspiration. “

Originally created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin back in 1975 for Werewolf by Night # 32, Moon Knight is the alter ego of Marc Spector, the son of a Jewish-American rabbi who grew up to be a heavyweight boxer, and then an American Marine. Marc Spector is a mercenary with numerous alter egos like the cabbie Jake Lockley, and the millionaire playboy Steven Grant to better fight the criminal underworld. Marc Spector, who was left for dead in the desert, was revived by the moon god Khonshu. Moon Knight, appointed as Khonshu’s fist and high priest, institutes justice to protect those who travel at night. His current abilities consist of skill in martial arts and armed combat, high-tech equipment, detective skills, as well as increased strength, speed and endurance, depending on the lunar cycle.


So far, this year is expected to be as packed as last year, with the upcoming releases of Sy-Hulk, Secret Invasion, Me. Marvel, en The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special currently in line for Disney +. On top of that, movies like Doctor Strange in the Versatile of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is planned to be released in theaters.
