The flash movie to get an official DC cartoon

As fans wait for the overdue arrival for DCs The flash later this year, an official comic for the upcoming film was announced. Just recently the publisher revealed it The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive will be released this summer. The comic prelude will be a three-issue monthly series starting in April and will end in July. The events that take place in The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive will directly lead to The flash film, with the entire series collected in a commercial paperback in October. The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive # 1 contains a main cover by Max Fiumara with a variant cover by the director of The flash, Andy Muschietti. The 48-page debut edition will arrive on April 26, 2022 at participating comic book stores and digital retailers. The upcoming comic book preview will be written by Kenny Porter, with art by Ricardo López Ortiz, Juan Ferreyra and Jason Howard across the three editions. Issue # 2 will be available in May and will feature art by fan favorite Juan Ferreyra, with Jason Howard providing art for the final issue in July.


The official summary for The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive read like, Barry Allen’s world-saving adventure with the Justice League has driven Central City’s favorite boy to become a truly capable and inspiring Superhero. But when a new threat called Girder pops up in Central City, Barry turns to Batman for advice on training to master his powers. Under the guidance of the Dark Knight, The Fastest Man Alive will have to find a way to defeat this metal threat or be crushed by Girder’s power!

The flash is directed by Muschietti, with a screenplay by Birds of prey and Batgirl’s Christina Hodson. It will feature Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / The Flash, both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton’s iterations of Bruce Wayne / Batman, as well as Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdu as Nora Allen, Ian Loh as a young Barry Allen, and Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Rudy Mancuso currently play unknown roles. After years in development, DCs The flash film is finally on course to appear on the big screen this November. The upcoming film has experienced several delays caused by the directorial changes, as well as the COVID-19 pandemic.
