Jordan Claire Robbins in The Umbrella Academy Season 3

“All the seasons are quite different because of the time travel and all the other elements in the world that make it quite limitless. But season three, I think is going to be my personal favorite so far, with this new family as you see from the previews and where Season 2 ended up. ” Explained Robbins.

She continued, discussing the new group in town. “Definitely tensions will arise from there. That’s for sure… without giving too much away… I had so much fun this year. I would have to say this is my favorite version of Grace that I’ve had the gift of being able to play… But this season is completely out of left field, totally different, and I think fans are going to enjoy it. I had a blast. ”

In an interview with Collider, The Umbrella Academy’s showrunner Steve Blackman also commented on what’s in store for Season 3, stating, “I do not want to give anything away… I know the beginning, middle, and end of Season 3. I know it’s going to be a very challenging season for them. Clearly, the Umbrella Academy is no more and their brother, who should be deceased, is standing right in front of them. So, I think there’s going to be some changes. And Hargreeves, who should be dead, is alive… I do not want to give anything away, but it will obviously be a fun and tragic season for them to understand what’s happening and how it came to be. ”

With the new season on the horizon, fans of the series will not have to wait long before they know exactly what Robbins and Blackman are hinting at.

What’s Next for Jordan Claire Robbins?

Robbins has a starring role in the upcoming comedy movie Chairlift (currently in pre-production), about a young financier who returns home in order to help his grandparents save their house. Chairlift also stars Nini Le Huynh and Lynn Mancinelli, directed by Tony Germinario, and written by Jeff Burnett, Tony Germinario, and Lynn Mancinelli. However, her interests branch out further than that. “I’ve actually been doing a bit of writing lately. I’ve got a couple of projects that I’m working on and just finished writing a pilot… one day, I would love to direct. I’m still working towards that. And I’m producing a couple of films too… I love acting, but I just love storytelling. So I’m really excited to keep exploring that and in every way that I can. ”

Robbins added that understanding one form, whether it be writing, acting, or directing, helps to better understand the other. “I think I’d say most of my favorite directors have also either acted or they speak the actor’s language. It just helps. Not only does it give you more empathy and understanding of everyone’s role, and in making a film, how important everyone is, but it helps you be better at your job because you see things from a different lens. It’s all just more of an understanding that’s going to serve you and give you a more unique perspective. ”
